Bio

Bryon Lewis-Cummings

My origin starts in both Fort Greene, Brooklyn, NYC and Dorchester, Boston, MA. My family spent summers in Boston and winter months in NYC. I grew up with three strong women at the foundational helm, where exceptional success was exemplified. I attended grade school in the city, participating in numerous extracurricular activities, ones that would expose me to communities in various religions, ethnicities, religious groups, and socioeconomic standings.

I attended Clark University in Worcester, MA, where I obtained a degree in Cultural Studies and Communication, and Studio Art, in my undergraduate studies. Worcester grew on me immensely, becoming a home away from home. I became infatuated with the urban development that I could witness as an adult, similar to which occurred in Brooklyn during my childhood. Worcester was a middle ground for me, a mix of metropolitan cityscapes and suburban solitude. A wholesome environment with a grocery store and cultural food access metric per capita that I was impressed with.

Now residing in Boston, MA, full circle. I indulge myself in professional work, collaboration, community awareness, and graduate studies. You can find me engaged in conversations surrounding accessible subsistence, renewable energy as a common practice, emerging practical tech, or playing tennis and volleyball on neighborhood courts.
